Sagrada: when your window card never completes

Hosted a low-key couples night with Sagrada + snacks. Thought it would be gentle. Instead I spent six rounds with one empty space that needed a specific color/value combo that simply never showed.

My partner finished theirs like a smug stained glass wizard while I stared at my board like it owed me money.

Private objectives made it worse — I was chasing points that required symmetry and the dice laughed at me.

Anyone else ever bail on a window card mentally mid-game and just play for tools? Is that throwing or survival.

Also yes I know it’s random. I’m still filing a complaint with the universe.

Tool cards exist for a reason. if you skip tools you sign the waiver

we house rule once: if you cant legally place in 3 rounds you may spend 2 favor for wild. only once per game

Before house rules, double check youre applying restrictions correctly. new groups misread window cards a lot
